Last day of the Pool
I will be the first to say I was skeptical when we bought this pool over the summer. I was fearful that it wouldn't get used and would require more maintenance than expected. To that I was only half right. I would say the pool got used way more than I would have thought and it was actually a great reason to spend more time with the neighbor kids as well. When the pool was super full with family and friends was some of my best memories this summer enjoying the pool. Also, the nice thing with a pool this size (I get it is still small in the grand scheme of things), is that adults could get in it as well for fun or just to cool off.
On the maintenance side of things, it wasn't all that bad but the couple of weeks where we weren't able to use the pool was when we had more maintenance to do as we probably left the cover on too long or didn't remember to put the chemicals in. However, that will be an easy fix next year to just weekly make sure to put the chemicals in no matter what.
So after such a fun summer in the pool it is now the first week of September and school has started back up for everyone. At this point, the pool is over and snow will probably start flying soon in Minnesota. So to go out with a bang, we decided to have one last swim/lounge in the pool before draining it for the winter. The kids had a blast as always and will defiantly be looking forward to it next year.

This is how April would have visioned the pool all year long.

Also, since we had been promising the kids all summer that we would set up the sprinklers we decided to end the year off with a bang and let them run around the yard/through the sprinklers for a while.
