Continuing our fun in Iowa- I feel like our entire summer has been spent in Iowa! - we went to Brecken's cousin Ava's 3rd birthday party in Newton on Saturday.  Here is the birthday girl enjoying cake :)

Following the party, the kids wanted to send balloons "up to Grandma to catch in the sky" like they did for her birthday.  It was sweet :)

Following the party, we ended up meeting friends at the Texas Roadhouse (YUM!!!!).  As always it was great to spend time with the Amundsons and see little Kaia!  You can tell Brecken was excited to be taking photos at this particular moment, right?  :(

We are back in Minnesota tonight on the eve of my LAST week before I'm officially back full time!  Here's to hoping the week goes SLOOOOOOWLY and Brecken and I have tons of fun on our days together :)
