June pictures

I realized I haven't posted any pictures for awhile so will try to catch up tonight. Here are a few photos of Brecken helping Eric open his father's day cards and gifts. I don't know who was more excited about the card- Brecken or Eric! The inside had a dad in bed with kids jumping (and the card actually had them moving and buzzing) while they kids yelled, "Wake up Daddy! Wake up Daddy!" Brecken thought it was a perfect choice as he likes to saunter into our rooms in the morning yelling, "Breck-ees awake! Breck-ees here!" It's typically at a reasonable hour, ranging from 7-8, so we don't mind our little alarm clock :)

Happy Father's Day Daddy! Brecken and Mommy love you lots :)

An evening at the park :)

While at the park, B was SOOO excited to find a "penny" on the ground (actually a dime). He immediately said, "My put in piggy back!" (What a smart boy!)

Placing his "penny" in his pocket for safe keeping until he got home!

Back to playing... Brecken tried a new obstacle at the park and we were excited as he climbed all the way up BY HIMSELF! What a big boy!!

Sharing an after dinner cupcake with Daddy :) Mommy has been on a big "sweets" kick lately, which Brecken has thoroughly enjoyed!!!

Tonight was pizza making night! After I picked B up from daycare, we had to stop at the store to get one final ingredient (pizza sauce) and Brecken loudly told EVERYONE we came into contact with at the store, "My buy pissa sauce and make pissa wit Mommy!" :) We found it and started in on our little baking project....

After spreading the "pissa" sauce, Brecken helped sprinkle the seasoning....

You'll notice the heavy concentration of tuscana blend spices in one area, so mommy was trying to smooth it out while Brecken happily smiled at how great he was doing :)

Picking a different spice for a different pizza....

Saying "CHEEEEESE" for Daddy :)

Kisses for Mommy, even! What a treat :)

Adding the "meat" as Brecken calls it... Or hamburger :)

Separating the pepperonis very carefully to put on the pizza....

.... or put in his mouth!! :)

Notice the half eaten pepperoni which ended up on a pizza? Don't worry, we were only cooking for our small little family, so no one minded :)

The best part.... CHEESE!

It took a LONG time for the cheese to actually make it on the pizza.... And I think even then it was because it happened to fall on the pizza below him. His intentions were always for it to go right into his mouth :)

Notice how I'm pointing to where the cheese needs to go.... And where it's actually going?

I won't lie, I told Brecken if he smiled and took a picture with me, I would let him eat more cheese.... It worked :)

Trying the finished product... YUM! B eats everything upside down for some reason?

Fun times! I am officially off of jury duty as well, so the summer of Brecken and Mommy officially gets underway tomorrow :)
