Toilet!!!!!

On a good note, today was a big day for Brecken at school! All week long, the teachers have said that Brecken has insisted on sitting on the potty so has "tried" with each diaper change. Today, he finally had success.... Followed by a little TOO much excitement :) I just got home from a dinner with my co-workers and was thrilled to see his note from daycare!

It says, "BM- Half in the toilet/ half on the floor. He got excited and jumped up too quickly :)"

While I realize we should be horrified that our kid pooped on the floor, we instead showered him with praise and did lots of clapping. Let's hope our reaction doesn't solidify a long future of finding poop on the floor :)

On a not-so-good note, daycare unfortunately didn't end well for the week. As I was driving to St. Paul tonight, I received a call from his teachers saying that he had thrown up once at school. Eric picked him up and he unfortunately got sick a few more times here :( Of course there would have been nothing I could do for him had I been here, but it always makes me so sad to know that he isn't feeling well. Eric said right before he got sick, Brecken looked "different" and started to say, "Breckees tummy..." Poor baby boy :(
