The Zoo Keeper

After much thought, Brecken decided that he wanted to be a zoo keeper this year for Halloween. He loves visiting the zoo, loves all animals, and loves to share his "animal noises" that he makes when reading about the zoo. That, and Eric said that he would only participate in "Family Halloween costume" if he could wear a mask so no one could see his face :)

What we came up with was a Zoo Keeper (Brecken), a tiger (Mommy), and a gorilla (Daddy). I would like to first say that if anyone is interested in owning a bright orange sweat suit, they have them at Wal-Mart. I'm not talking about in the Halloween/ costume section either.... They ACTUALLY have orange sweatsuits.... for SALE.... to the PUBLIC for those interested in owning an ORANGE sweatsuit! Awesome!!! I have never been so excited (and shocked!) that a retail store came through for me on this one!! I painted on my tiger stripes last night and decided to show it to Brecken tonight before bed. Not only did he immediately recognize what I was supposed to be, but he started "growling" at me which was pretty funny. From there, we ran around the basement growling and chasing each other.... and laughed ALOT... for the next 20-30 minutes. I tried to get some pictures of Eric the gorilla with Brecken but it didn't go so well. A.) Eric was less than enthuised about the idea and B.) Brecken was a little TOO interested in the gorilla mask and couldn't function as a human being unless HE was holding it. I told Eric we were going to have to play with it a lot over the next few days so this freak out session doesn't occur at our Halloween parties next week! Videos to be posted as soon as I figure out how to do it from the camera they were taken with!
