Brecken loves to help in the garden!

I have so many fabulous pictures to post from our time in Iowa, so will start slow and see how long it takes me to catch up. It was so nice to walk in the house tonight, as it feels like Brecken and I have been gone forever.... And my garden DEFINITELY looks like I have been gone forever! HOLY COW has there been a lot of activity since I last checked in with it a week and a half ago. Brecken is always excited when we go outside to check on the garden, and tonight was his lucky night because we actually let him HELP! Here are a few pictures from our gardening adventures tonight...

Look how our garden grew! When we left for Iowa, we barely had corn stalks and now there are husks!!!

Brecken was somewhat confused about "picking weeds..." He missed the memo and thought the point was to pick grass from the yard and put that INTO the garden :) Close, buddy!

I was SUPER excited by all of the growth in our garden! The strawberries were bright red and DELICIOUS, the sweet corn growing, green beans have flowered and (fingers crossed) will be here soon, cucumbers are almost ready, chives are overflowing- ANYONE WANT SOME???, asparagus and broccoli are looking good, and even my green peppers have arisen from the dead! SUCCESS!
