Iowa Vacation

Vacationing in Iowa.... It still sounds weird to me! I guess now that we don't live in the state, whenever we take a week off to come visit it is technically called a "vacation."  That said, here are a few pictures of our time so far. I have realized that waiting until the end of a trip and trying to do one large post is too daunting and it is easier for me to try to do smaller posts as the trip goes on when I am able to.

We are spending the weekend with the Fulkerson family and are so excited about spending time with them!  We will be going to the zoo tomorrow, catching up, and watching fireworks on their deck with the Amundons and meeting new baby Kaia!!!!!!!!  We are always so happy to be able to spend time with great friends :)

Lissa made an awesome "Being 1 is so much fun" birthday balloon bouquet cake for the kiddos and we got to do some celebrating tonight!  The cake was delicious and the kids loved it!  It seems like just yesterday that we were here at the Fulkersons having Kallie and Brecken meet for the very first time.  Since then, we have travelled to each other's houses, had play dates, swapped stories, showed off pictures, and shared way too many texts back and forth with one another as we watched our little bundles grow and change.  Kallie will officially turn into a one-year old next week and it is hard to even fathom!  They grow up way too fast!!!!
