What a great day for a trip to the zoo!
In the parking lot... Sun screen on and ready to rock!
Wake up Mr. Tiger...
Mommy and Brecken in front of the Caribou
Daddy and Brecken feeding the goats
This goat kept trying to give kisses and nibbled on Brecken's hand a little. He laughed about it and wasn't scared at all! I am sure that Tucker and PJ help with his comfort level of licking animals!
Papa Gott will like this picture of Brecken on the John Deere tractor!
Brecken really liked the dairy cow barn and kept going back to say hi to Karol the cow!
Family photo... Thanks to balancing the camera on a ledge! Not bad!!
Making faces at Daddy
Cute picture!
Meet Farmer Bob, the scarecrow... Brecken was a big fan!
Brecken was telling Mommy big stories in this photo... He always has so much to say!
The ground hogs were funny to watch and one kept coming right up to Brecken
One of his favorite things was arguably mooshing his face up against the glass/ windows :)
The leopard was pacing right in front of us for a long time and Brecken watched its' every move...
Brecken enjoyed watching all the fish...
As you can tell, he was quite happy to see fishies up close and personal!
Hi Daddy!
Brecken is such a big boy and loved his hot dog kid's meal... First hot dog... First time drinking milk from a carton.... He gets bigger and more grown up every day, it's crazy!
We couldn't find a high chair, so the stroller tray worked just fine...
He tried a sweet pickle from Mommy's salad, and kept wanting MORE, MORE, MORE!
Daddy and Brecken in front of the dolphins
.... and giving Daddy kisses?
More fish...
Looking at the tidal wave pool....
Mommy, I see the dolphin! I see the dolphin!!
We were at the zoo from 9:30 until a little after 12:30 and Brecken had SO much fun! He started to act a little tired before we had lunch, but wasn't fussy at all and easily caught his second (and third, and fourth!) wind with each new animal hut and exhibit. He had a LOT of fun and we ended up getting a family membership so we could take many more trips there over the summer. We were saying he would definitely sleep on the way home, but this picture was taken BEFORE WE EVEN LEFT THE PARKING LOT!! He started to tell Sophie the Giraffe about all of the fun animals he saw, and fell asleep mid-sentence, holding Sophie the rest of the way home and throughout the transfer to his crib for the rest of his nap!!
For anyone close by... Our membership includes a free guest with each visit so let me know if you'd like to join Brecken and I anytime between Monday - Thursday this summer!
We have swimming on the docket for this afternoon/ evening and grilling out. Summer is so much fun!!!!!
