Brecken's Birthday Weekend!

Checking out his ball jump castle...

His favorite thing to do was to put the balls through the holes... What a stinker!

Brecken's sign to let everyone know where the party is!

Checking out his "tube city" (that had a tent and a teepee, as well as long tubes to crawl through that connected the bigger things)... A little confusing perhaps, but you can see a full shot later!

The backyard set up for fun!

Brecken got so many fun gifts!  He got a giraffe swimming pool with slide, puzzles, toys, a picnic table with umbrella, a wagon with a door that opens and closes, money, shoes, bath toys, a personalized "Brecken Birthday Boy" picture frame, and so much more!  He is a very lucky little boy to be loved by so many wonderful people :)  He even has more presents to open on his birthday!  We decided to save our present to him, Tucker & PJ's present, and his special gifts from the Fulkersons and his girlfriend Kallie.... We will have more pictures after his big day!

King for a day!

The dinner menu was Brecken-inspired with all of his current favorites at one meal:  Brats, green beans, fruit (kiwi, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, pineapple), and a "sand dessert" (like dirt dessert only with vanilla pudding and crushed Nilla Wafers.... Nilla Wafers are one of his faves and I couldn't think of how else to incorporate this into his special meal!).  He loved it all, even though he seems to be going through a phase of slowed down eating :)

After dinner, we all moved outside so the kids could play and have fun....

Uncle Aaron gave Brecken this cool giraffe swimming pool for his birthday and we wasted no time getting it set up.  Despite bringing out pitchers of hot water and letting it sit in the sun for a few hours, the pool temperature wasn't quite up to Brecken's liking.  He still had fun and his cousin Michael had a GREAT time!!

Here is B testing out the slide for the first time...

Brecken, Michael & Julia having fun!

Brecken's favorite thing to do with the pool was to stand on the outside and splash.  This allowed him to play in the water, yet not be too cold!  He is such his momma's boy in so many ways :)

Family photo....

New wagon from Grandma & Grandpa Walker!

Michael and Brecken were full of giggles when Eric was pulling!

Kisses for Daddy...

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear BRECKEN....

Cake and ice cream with two of Brecken's favorite little people....

This is the morning after his big party.... Look how relaxed he is for his wagon ride!

Praying before his meal....

Brecken's first taste of corn on the cob!  This was actually a pretty funny experience.... Brecken is not one to jump right into things.  Instead, he sits back and thinks and analyzes.  He has been this way since his very first day of life and it has been fun to see his little personality develop with this being a characteristic that has stuck with him.  Brecken is very much a "thinker" and wasn't sure what to think of this strange object we were putting into this hands!

These are just a few of the highlights out of the 700+ photos from Brecken's birthday weekend!  It was a lot of fun and while Brecken won't remember it in the slightest, we want to thank everyone who came to be a part of it!  It meant a lot to us to have everyone make the trip and spend this special day with Brecken :)  Also, a big thank you to everyone else who took pictures that day.  It's hard to believe, but I truly felt like I just enjoyed the moments with Brecken and didn't worry about getting those perfect photos like I would have thought I would have been worrying about.  It made it a lot easier with all of the aunts and grandmas who had their cameras aimed and ready at all times :)
