Happy 4th Birthday cousin Emma!
Dear Blog World:
We went to Green Bay this weekend for my cousin Emma's 4th birthday party. She is SUCH a big girl! She had a really fun birthday party at a place called Kidz Town. This was one of the most fun places I have ever been because everything was "kid sized" and had everything a regular town would have.... A grocery store, workshop, construction zone, hospital, veterinarian office, fire station, police station, clothing store, playground, and MORE! I even had a place setting at the party table with all of the big kids when it was time for cake. I sat across from my cousin Ava (who is about 1 year older than me) and we had fun eating our cake together. We both got some on our noses, but that is okay.
I liked driving around the "town," just checking things out....
Fire Fighter Brecken!
This was the COOLEST corner!!! It was a "construction site" full of rubber tires and lots of digger toys. I told Mommy and Daddy I want this for my big boy bedroom because it was awesome!!!!
Kaila's Closet (This store had a lot of pink princess stuff so I didn't really go in here) and the Kidz Town Hospital...
Cortney's Critter Care and the Corner Market....
Fire Station and Playground...
Playground...
Connie's Cafe...
School House... This was Mommy's favorite
Uncle Tom's Workshop.... This had all kinds of tools and work benches. I think I'll really like playing in this building when I'm a little older!
Police Station...
Grocery Store.... Emma liked shopping for food here and she kept bringing me all kinds of goodies in her shopping cart. I like when she brought me an ice cream cone best!
Check out the airplane on the wall!
Emma blowing out her birthday candles...
My own place at the "big kids" table! How exciting!!
YUM YUM! Cake!
Hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa at the party. Grandpa held my balloon so it wouldn't float to the sky like some of the other kids' balloons!
Playing with toys in the "toy store" area of the town :)
Emma brought some of the big animals out of the reading corner so they could play with me. They were so big I wasn't sure what to think of them, but they were all very nice and none of them tried to take my toys!
One of Emma's birthday presents was a Barbie Jeep! It was so cool and looked just like a real jeep! It had seat belts, a radio for us to listen to, and when Emma pushed on the gas pedal, it went really fast!!! Well, maybe not fast compared to cars on the road, but it seemed fast for me. Whenever she pushed on the gas or the breaks, my little head moved back and forth really fast. She was a very good driver, even though she didn't like to go straight (it was more fun to curve!). She did a good job of keeping me safe.
At first, I was a little nervous, but once Emma started driving, I thought it was a lot of fun!!
I didn't love my drives back and forth to Green Bay, but I sure did have fun while I was there! I got to see Uncle Ryan, Auntie Stephanie, Uncle Aaron, and Grandma and Grandpa Gott! Mommy and Daddy said that sometimes I make car trips even longer because we had to make some special pit stops for me. It's just hard for me because now that I learned how to move, it's hard for me to sit in my car seat. Uncle Ryan and Auntie Stephanie let me borrow their portable DVD player and some fun DVD's incase I got restless on the car trip home, but I didn't understand it. Mommy was setting it close to me so I could see the pictures moving on the screen, but it was too hard for me to not hold it by myself. I guess I don't understand how to watch movies yet.
Here was one of our stops on the drive to Green Bay. We only had 30 minutes to drive to get to Uncle Aaron's house but I just couldn't be in my car seat one more second. I was very happy once we got out to play in the grass!

I woke up at 6:45 this morning, but Mommy and Daddy said we were having a "Family Sleep-In Sunday" day so I got to go back to bed with them and Tucker & PJ. I love it when we have Familiy Sleep-In days because I get to cuddle and have some extra time to sleep!!! I usually read a book with Mommy & Daddy in bed and then I fall right to sleep because their "big" beds are always SO comfortable!
When Mommy was trying to wake me up (PJ and I were the last ones to wake up from Family Sleep-In Sunday), but I didn't hear her because my ear was stuck shut! Everyone thought I looked like Spock from Star Trek and said it looked funny. I don't know why it stuck shut like this- It was weird!
We stayed at Uncle Aaron's house. Sometimes he is hard to wake up in the mornings, so I brought my hammer to wake him incase I needed it. Luckily for him, he felt me standing on him and heard me talking to him....
I am currently working on not ONE, not TWO, not THREE, but FOUR teeth at the same time! I have 3 coming in on the top (one just pushed through after weeks of working on it!) and one more on the bottom. I'm happy about this because now I have more teeth to brush with my Elmo toothbrush and it helped me chew through my asparagus tonight at dinner! Sometimes I try to sharpen my new chompers on Daddy's shoulder and Mommy's knee but they say NO NO and I have to stop. I get sad when people say NO NO to me :(
Goodnight all...
Love,
Brecken
P.S. I turned 11 months old TODAY!!!! I am such a big boy!
