Spring Break!

I would be lying if I said Brecken and I weren't enjoying our spring break! We spent the first 2 days working on teacher stuff, in and out of Lakeshore to laminate projects, and in the classroom organizing and restructuring. Those who know me know that I actually "enjoy" getting organized so it really was a good thing to have the extra days to be able to do just that! And Brecken is such a blessing when it comes to being able to work in the classroom... I sit him on the floor, bust out a toy or two, and he's good to go! I had to laugh though because while I was in the office talking to a few people on Thursday, I set Brecken down and opened up his diaper bag to grab his giraffe. I was talking and only half paying attention when I looked down to see that he had taken his diapers, wipes, and extra out of the bag to get to his SNACK CUP and was HELPING HIMSELF TO HIS PUFFS!! What a self-sufficient little man I am raising!!! Ha... I got a good laugh out of his ability to take care of himself and figure out how to get what he wanted without so much as a peep. Or perhaps he was being sneaky?? Either way, I thought it was pretty cute.

In other news, Brecken has decided he is no longer interested in his bottle so is officially (at least as of now) only accepting beverages in the form of his straw sippy cup. He has been leaning more and more towards this decision over the past few weeks but we've decided to stop trying the bottle altogether as of today...

Speaking of today... Happy 10 months Bug-a-Boo! We love you!!
