I can see it!!!

Hi all... Brecken had a spot on his bottom gums that looked a little swollen on Tuesday and Wednesday... Followed by what appeared to be a small white spot on his gums on Thursday... And today, there appears to be the start of a little tooth sticking out! Not that he seems to even need teeth as he can "gum" his way through ravioli, macaroni and cheese, carrots, ham, chicken and anything else that goes in his mouth!! This afternoon there seems to possibly be another tooth coming in right next to the first so maybe he'll have two by the end of the weekend! I don't want to speak too soon and jinx myself but he's still sleeping through the night just fine and not seeming to be too irritated by the teeth?? Maybe that means they'll go back down and not be here to stay... Or maybe my saying that out loud will bring me the worst night ever tonight?? Hmmm. He does try to chew on everything, and I mean everything.... He's lunging at my hand while I'm trying to buckle him into his car seat like a little snapping turtle, full fledged chewing on the shopping cart handles in the grocery store (I know, gross for him and gross for the next person, but it is what it is...), and gnawing on his arm if he can't find a toy within his reach. What can I say, I have a very resourceful little boy! And from this day forward, he just might be a very resourceful little boy with teeth!!

We leave for Arizona tomorrow morning... Brecken's first airplane ride is on a day when he has to wake up at 4:45am to get to the airport, is fighting an ear infection and is now teething. My apologies to anyone on United 1558 tomorrow!
