Pumpkin Party!

This isn't how we thought we'd be spending the weekend, but we're having fun! We had planned on driving back to Iowa for a friend's wedding, but after the crazy week we've had with Brecken in and out of the doctor's office, we needed to stay close to home. That meant a sleep-in day this morning, followed by a Pumpkin Party that our realtor was hosting at his office.... I wanted Brecken to wear "cute" clothes for his first pictures at a Pumpkin patch, but Eric was adamant on him wearing his bumble bee costume. He made the most PRECIOUS little bumble bee and I was glad that Eric pushed for the costume as it was cold, cold, cold!

After our sleep-in morning, Daddy and B read a few books. Brecken is starting to get into books, as he loves to look at the pictures and all of the fun colors. It's been fun to watch!

This afternoon we hung out at home and Brecken and Mommy ended up taking a nap. I've never been a "napper", so this was an AWESOME event for me!!!

Here are a few pictures of Brecken and his cousin Julia. They are quick becoming the best of friends!! They love to watch each other and are starting to interact more, which is really fun to watch.
