Where do I even begin??
I began writing this last week and just never got around to adding pictures and posting. Please disregard the time frame that isn't entirely accurate now that I posted late :)

We had a busy but exciting week last week. On Tuesday, we had friends over for dinner.... Not only was it great to see Brian and Chris again, but we finally got to meet Brecken's new friend Anna! She is an absolute doll and although there were only a few precious moments where neither of the babies were sad or sleeping, Brecken and Anna sure made the most of the minutes they had together in happiness. They enjoyed some blanket time as well as some "chair" time in their little vibrating gadgets. Brecken can't wait to have another play date with Anna!!
Wednesday, Brecken and I met Tauna and Evie for breakfast at the Original Pancake House (yum) and then went to Eric's work for a baby shower. It was SO nice of his co-workers to plan a fun lunch and Brecken got so many wonderful gifts. He definitely upstaged the group as he was dressed in his little "Like Daddy" business suit! He also had a homemade cake made by one of the ladies Eric works with. It was a train themed day for Mr. Brecken and it was so very appreciated by Mom & Dad! For security reasons, I wasn't allowed to bring my camera into Eric's building :( HOWEVER, some of the girls Eric works with promised to email me pictures so I will post them here as soon as I see them! I can show you a picture of what Brecken wore for his big day-- He tried (successfully I might add) to upstage Daddy with a three piece suit and tie. ADORABLE.
On Thursday afternoon we started our road trip to Iowa. We always love being there, but don't necessarily enjoy the actual process of getting there. We decided to break the drive up with a layover in Nevada. It was a great surprise for Grandma & Grandpa Walker! We woke up the next morning, made a pit stop at Grandma Walker's work for more face time, then drove to Grandma Gott's work for a quick hello before arriving at our final destination: Ollie, Iowa. Whew!
Saturday was an AMAZING baby shower hosted by my fabulous sister-in-law Stephanie. It was so good to see everyone from back home and always fun to show the little cutie off.
Brecken got so many great things!! Thanks to everyone!

Brecken's second play date with his friend Wyatt Yule...
Saturday night was spent at Torinos with friends and drinking grease, er, I mean, eating delicious pizza. You can't find that quality up here in Minnesota, that's for sure! It's funny that my classmates are all having babies now, as I still think of all of us as being "young" still. HA! There were 4 little ones there to spice up the night, and lots of good talk and laughs for us adults.
Not the best photo, but it was hard to get us all in!
Hanging out with a very good friend from high school - Janelle!

Brecken loved, loved, LOVED JD!! As you can tell, B and JD had a great conversation :)
Stay tuned for more pictures!! I'll post more tonight if I can... Otherwise hopefully later this week. I want to at least get caught up to real time! It's so easy to get behind....
