One month old!!!

As the clock strikes midnight, Brecken is on the eve of officially being a ONE MONTH OLD! What??!?!?! First off, it seems insane that an entire month has passed (it feels like it should be both a lot longer and a lot shorter, all at the same time!). It makes it even more bizarre that he is a month old and yet shouldn't even be born for a few more weeks. Craziness. Pure craziness.

All continues to go great and little B grows each and every day. He's really starting to fill out and oh, those chubby little cheeks are getting bigger and bigger. Love it! He even has a little tiny knee roll which is TO DIE FOR!

About an hour ago, he ate 5 1/2 ounces!!!!!! I don't know if this is good or bad, as it seems like a LOT for a little man to have at one time! That said, he pounded that sucker like it was The Last Supper and when I pulled the bottle out, he was RAVENOUS! According to our scales here at the house, which are by no means hospital grade, he weighs over 7 pounds now! That would be

a full POUND weight gain in one week. The week prior he gained 11 ounces. I think he wants to outgrow his "preemie" status before his due date so he doesn't have to carry that stigma around in life!

We did have a busy day.... A long walk around our neighborhood tonight, and he observed some serious basement cleaning this afternoon. It sure did make him hungry, so now I just hope that it makes him tired tonight as well!

Below are a few pictures taken earlier this week. We will try to get some "birthday" pictures of the one-month old up later, as well as his newborn photos which were taken last Thursday!
