Today I was pooped on AND pee'd on.... All before 10am!

It's been a fun few days! It is nice to be at home while NOT on bed rest and for more than a few minutes in between hospital visits... Most fun is being at home with little Brecken. He had his first appointment with his new doctor today and we really liked him. At todays visit, he weighed exactly the same as he did on the day he was discharged from the hospital. Of course we were hoping for a weight gain, but happy that he didn't lose. Also, it's hard to judge accuracy since it is a new building and therefore a different scale. We will take him back next week to check in and do a weight assessment. He was awake for the whole appointment, and just looked all around and took things in. He wasn't exactly thrilled with the "naked baby" part of the trip to get weighed, but we snuggled him in a soft blanket afterwards so he forgave us.

Last night we were trying to get pictures in a specific outfit, and of course Brecken had other plans. No sooner than we had the outfit on, he PEE'D all over the place. And boy did it go the distance.... We're talking walls, mommy, his hair, the furniture. NICE. Advantage #1 of having a girl: It is not physically possible for them to "go" and tarnish as many things in one room. We washed up, cleaned up, changed outfits, and talked about how we were never going to do that again...... He must have forgotten our discussion though, as (once again, right after I put on this specific outfit for pictures), we had another water leak this morning. And then, after washing the outfit AGAIN and trying AGAIN, we had a poopy blow out. Needless to say, I'm over trying to get specific pictures and am heading back to the laundry room :)

Daddy and Brecken webcammed with Grandma and Grandpa Walker last night and Brecken was wide awake the whole time! He was very alert and even looked like he was looking right at them on the screen.

On Tuesday night, Brecken only woke up once during the night to eat!! We assumed it was probably just beginner's luck, but were happy :) Last night, he woke up just once again, but then couldn't quite make it to Daddy's 6am feeding time so hung out with Mom for a BIG breakfast at 5am instead. It's funny how I have been an avid morning-hater all my life, yet seem to jump right out of bed for those little cries. I'm sure my happiness at waking up to see him might diminish somewhat in the weeks to come :)

We have had a lot of awake & alert time over the past few days, so have tried to take advantage and "play" a little bit. We've had some tummy time, some blanket time, some time lounging with the doggies... Lots of fun!

B tries out his vibrating seat from Uncle Matt, Aunt Jill, Michael and Julia... He really likes it! If we turn the vibrations on and then turn them back off, he'll start kicking his leg as if he wants the movement to continue. It's pretty funny...

Brecken wants to play more, but is fighting sleep.

If you are familiar with our small Yorkies, this is a good size comparison of just how small Brecken really is!

Brecken really isn't as scared of Tucker as it seems in this picture. I can't decide if Brecken is SO SMALL or if Tucker looks like a giant???

Thanks to Uncle Warren and Aunt Carrie for the Detroit Tigers gear!! We plan on him being a Cubbies fan like Mom and Dad, but he does seem to like the blue and orange :)

Have a great day everyone!
