Doing Great!!

Hi all... Brecken continues to get good reports from his doctors and everything seems to be doing great!  The nurses all LOVE his full head of hair and we all keep saying that we're pretty sure it's grown in length in just the last few days.  He went "under the lights" on Friday afternoon for his billirubin count (jaundice), but his numbers were back to normal within 24 hours... He continues to be under the lights in order to see where his numbers are tomorrow, but if all continues to be normal he'll be back to his warm, dark cocoon instead of his little tanning bed.  Check out his shades :)

The grandparents were all able to meet little Brecken this week!  Grandma and Grandpa Gott came up Thursday evening and Friday.  Grandma and Grandpa Walker came up Friday evening and are staying through Sunday.  Below is a picture of one set of proud grandparents.  We are hoping that he'll be out of the lights tomorrow so that Grandma and Grandpa Walker can take a picture also!!

We were finally able to snap a picture of Brecken with his eyes open- No small feat, I assure you!!

Having to go home from the hospital each night without Brecken is devastating :(  It's heart wrenching to say goodbye to the little bug and we find ourselves anxiously awaiting the morning hours so we can get back there again!!
