Brecken at 9:30am

We just got back from another Brecken visit in the Special Care Nursery. We got several compliments on his name from the nurses when we were up there. We also got to talk to his doctor while we were there. He seems to be doing really well, but is still laboring to breathe. She said it might be something that he just needs to work through as a preemie, but wants to proactively make sure it's nothing that they could assist him with. Therefore, she ordered a chest xray to see if anything shows up. She expected the xray to take place in the next hour (they actually bring the little xray equipment right to his bedside) and then we should have preliminary results back by the end of the day. She also mentioned that he is beginning to become a little jaundiced (which is normal), so might get moved under the lamps in the next few days. One of his nursery roommates is under one and it looks weird. It appears that a small little baby is sunning in a tanning bed, with the goggles on and everything. We will of course post pictures if that is his next adventure. His little curly hair still cracks April up.

Sorry for all the information and pictures, but as we can only see him during certain times, I need a way to fill all of my downtime.
