Alive... Still pregnant.

Wow.  What a week.  I really have no other words to wrap it up, just WOW.  I am, however, happy to report that I am alive!  I am also still pregnant, so no baby yet which is a good thing!  Monday was 28 weeks which is a big milestone... And now I'm halfway to week 29.

I went to the doctor again today (seems to be a daily occurence recently), but this was actually for a regularly scheduled check-up.  I had my glucose/ diabetes test and it came back good.  The baby is still "dangerously low" so bed rest continues... However, my shower accomodations got upgraded to DAILY.  This is something I am super excited about!  They'll still be quick showers and I still can't do anything beyond that, but it's something.  I will now be on a weekly doctor visit rotation.... As much I wouldn't normally be excited about weekly check-ups, it does get me out of the house so I guess the weekly "field trip" is kind of exciting?  So sad what excites me these days.

My mother-in-law has been here to help out this week, and my mom is coming up next week.  Needless to say, I am being well taken care of and am so appreciative.

How great is Eric at filling in on the blog??  God bless that boy, is all I have to say!  He's been amazing through everything....

For those of you who have a life, I'd like to tell you about a tv show that I am ashamed to admit to watching.  It is called "The Cougar" and it is somewhat like The Bachelor only with less class and much more ridiculous.  Yet given my current situation, I find it highly entertaining.  If anyone else finds themselves insanely bored, stuck on bed rest or unable to sleep at night, they air full episodes online!

I don't know what the weather is like anywhere else in the world, but when I was out this morning it was NICE NICE NICE.  Maybe I can somehow find a way to have my bed rolled outside to enjoy it more than the walk from the parking lot to the doctor's office?  I'll start brainstorming ideas.

Take care everyone...
