The results are in.....

I was beginning to get nervous that we'd have to go the whole weekend without hearing the results from the doctor, but I finally heard from them right at 5 last night.  The fetal fibronectrine test came back NEGATIVE, which is good!  This means that I have a 99.9% chance of NOT going into labor within the next two weeks, which is VERY exciting.  All of you who know me well are fully aware that I am usually in that .1% but let's hope this time is different.  I emailed a nurse friend last night to ask if this meant I could get up and start moving, and she kindly explained that the statistics were only validated if I continued my "current course."  Booooooooooo.

Sorry for not blogging last night, but we were so excited that we got dressed up and went out to celebrate!!!!!  By "get dressed up," I only mean that I got to put on a fresh tshirt, and by "went out to celebrate," I of course mean that I got to "sit up" (it's more of a pillow prop really, less than 45 degree angle at all times!!).  Our celebratory meal was tacos which I have been hungry for!!  Either way, we were both very happy with the news.

A relaxing weekend lies ahead for us... Movies and lounging in bed.  What used to sound so fun, now sounds like a chore:(  No Easter egg hunt for us, but we hope all of you have a great weekend and a Happy Easter!
