My babysitter has arrived!

My mom is up for the week, to take care of me, spoil me, and ensure that I don't get out of bed EVER!  She arrived on Tuesday night and will be here the rest of the week.  Eric was a little nervous as she started carrying her stuff in.... And more stuff, and more stuff, and STILL MORE?? I think Eric finally gave up watching the door and pretended he didn't notice all the trips she was taking in and out.  Thank you SO much to everyone back home who sent goodies my way!  I really appreciate it!  Throughout the day, we (we= Mom) got my little room whipped into shape!  I've been hoping to put some organization to everything, and get it to be accessible at an arm's length away.  Between my thinking/ delegating/ dictating and mom's muscle power, I think the room looks good!  I felt like I was on Oprah's Clutter Crew episode where Peter Walsh comes in and "de-clutters" people's lives!  For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, you really should start watching Oprah.  I dont know what I would do without lady O to keep me occupied.  Her and I have hung out through the years, but she's verging on my best friend these days :)I have been trying to take pictures of "the bump" throughout the pregnancy, which is proving to be a little more difficult with bed rest.  Now it's all about timing and getting the camera ready for one of my "up" times.  Mom was able to

get a few pictures yesterday of me at 25 weeks:

She also took some pictures of me eating in bed.  Something I believe I use to be scolded for when I was little, but she has relaxed a little bit now that it is doctor ordered :)  Mom brought up a tray for me so I would have a place to put my plate as I try to eat from a half laying down

position, and she kept laughing because my tummy sticks above

the tray.  Haha mom.

Yesterday was all about organization and today is all about fun!  She is helping me gather all of my supplies for a little project I have been wanting to do for the nursery.  Not sure how it'll go

, and it does involve paint in the bed..... So I'm doing it while Eric is at work and hoping he doesn't log on to read the blog today :)  We'll have everything cleaned up and put away before he gets home and he'll never know that I'm breaking his rule of NO PAINT IN THE BED!  :)

A few more pictures, just for fun..... As you can tell, Tux and PJ are really enjoying having their mommy home.  And check-out the big screen that got moved up to the bedroom!!!!!  Just wanted to throw out an invitation for anyone who wants to come watch a movie in the upcoming weeks.  And courtesy of some fine ladies in Ollie, I have movie candy to go with it!  Bucket loads!!!!!  I'm about halfway through the Junior Mints, so I can't guarantee they will still be here, but I've got Gummisavers, Milk Duds, Dots, Hot Tamales and more!

No contractions yet today, but Junior has been kicking around like crazy the past few days!!  He's doing all kinds of jumps, jabs, and flips in my stomach, and Grandma even got to feel a few kicks last night during his nightly concert.  Eric got a much deserved "night off" from me and stayed out late at his brother's house!  I think it's safe to say that we have both appreciated mom being here to help out.... And as I type this she is in the kitchen making cherry turnovers.  Mmmmmmmm :)  I know my brothers are reading this right now thinking how "lucky" I am to be at home and "in bed, relaxing" all day, but despite how luxurious it might sound to have Mom here pampering me, I'd give up all the cherry turnovers in the world to be back in my classrooms!  I promise you that!!!  Everyone tells me to make the most of it though and stay positive..... It has been a little easier with mom here as my daily play mate :)

I hope everyone has a great day... I think it's almost another weekend??Love,

April
